Bookings, cancellations and service policy
By confirming your bookings at Mae Beauty you agree to all terms and conditions set out as per the below:
Cancellations
To be fair to other clients, please adhere to the cancellation policy set out before confirming a booking.

Please allow 24 hours prior to cancelling a booked appointment.

Not showing to your appointment will result in a 50% no show/ late cancellation fee (of the total booking cost). If you have made a booking online, your fee will be deducted from your booking deposit. If you have not paid a booking deposit, the no show / late cancellation invoice will be sent to you via email and will be payable by card online.

Cancellations are accepted online or via email, or SMS to 021 113 4577, or DM on Instagram. If you call to cancel please be aware that I may not be able to answer the phone, and therefore DM is preferred.

Stating you were not unaware of our policy will not be accepted as a waiver.
Bookings /Appointments

Please ensure you arrive on time to your appointment in respect of other clients' booking times and our break times. We have a small window between each client, so if you are late, we are unable to extend your appointment time. We will respectfully conduct your service within the given time only.

Please note that bringing your child or infant to your appointment is not advised. We urge you to consider that your eyes may be closed for an extended period of time, where your child or infant cannot be attended to.
Services
Mae Beauty has a strict policy around performing waxing and lamination treatments. You are required to notify Natalie (Your therapist) if you are pregnant (*Brow Laminations CANNOT be conducted if you are pregnant), have used any of the following skincare or have had any of the following procedures done to your skin. Your therapist is authorised to cancel your appointment or suggest alternative treatments if you fail to notify the therapist of any of the below listed information before proceeding with your appointment. Your therapist is not liable if you fail to advise your therapist of any of the below. Your therapist will confirm the below information with you before proceeding with the appointment and will record this information for future appointments.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that:

You are not using or have not used retinol in the last 14 days before your appointment.

You are not using any other acne treatments or medication such as Tretinoin or Accutane.

You have not had any skin treatments such as microdermabrasion, micro-needling, skin peels, laser skin treatments, or any chemical exfoliating treatments in the last 14 days before your appointment.

You have not used any exfoliating skincare products on your skin in the last 14 days before your appointment.

You have not had any botox or filler in the last 14 days before your appointment.

To your knowledge, you have not experienced a skin reaction to having waxing, tinting (including hair dye), laminating or lash perms in the past.
Refunds

Mae Beauty wants to ensure that every client is satisfied with the service provided. If you are unhappy with the service we will offer you a complimentary consultation and a re-do service. Please contact us via our messaging channels within 2 weeks of your appointment if you are dissatisfied or have any concerns.

Please note that each service includes a consultation prior to conduction, and therefore it is important to let your therapist know if you feel your desired results are misunderstood.

Natalie (owner of Mae Beauty) is a trained professional, and therefore may recommend alternative suggestions if she believes they may be better suited to you. She is confident that you will be thrilled with your results and service at Mae, and will strive to deliver upon your expectations.
Pricing
Mae Beauty's service/ product pricing can change at any time without any notice. By agreeing to our terms, you accept that you are liable to pay the full advertised price of the service or product at the time that your payment is required. The price of the service booked prior to the pricing change will remain the same as the advertised price at the time of booking the appointment.
